Accelerating Primary Care 2009 is the fourth annual conference hosted by the University of Alberta and Alberta Health Services. The conference is known for being both unique and practical. The event is the only conference of its kind in Canada and offers real, take-home information that can result in better patient care.

Aimed at supporting practice innovation that leads to accelerating the advances in primary care, the conference will educate and prepare primary care workers for new and more rewarding roles. Delegates will hear how their colleagues have led the way by changing their practices, and will leave the event encouraged that change is possible… and that change can improve patient services and outcomes.

New this year will be a pre-conference workshop on research in primary care, hosted by Alberta Health Services. More details will be available soon. Please visit the conference website for updates.
