Alberta Waitlist Registry

Capital Health wait list information is included in the province-wide waitlist registry launched by Alberta Health and Wellness in October 2003.

The Alberta Wait List Registry provides Albertans and their physicians with secure and reliable information about waiting times for MRIs and CT scans and select surgical procedures.

Capital Health collects its information directly from physicians and sends it to Alberta Health and Wellness for posting on the Alberta Wait List Registry website.

Capital Health is still collecting information for some of its facilities and will be updating this page as new information is posted. At this time information for the following facilities and procedures in Capital Health are posted:

MRIs and CT Scans:

• Royal Alexandra Hospital
• Misericordia Community Hospital
• Grey Nuns Community Hospital
• University of Alberta Hospital
• Sturgeon Community Hospital

Selected Surgical Procedures:

• Royal Alexandra Hospital
• Misericordia Community Hospital
• Grey Nuns Community Hospital
• University of Alberta Hospital (effective  March 27, 2004)

Waitlist information for all facilities within Capital Health will be posted on the Alberta Health and Wellness website by the end of 2004.
