Edmonton, Canada - Capital Health is pleased to have been selected as Cardiovascular Disease Including Stroke Affiliate to the Canadian Health Network (CHN). Funded by Health Canada, the CHN is a national, non-profit, bilingual Web-based health information service. CHN does this through a unique collaboration - one of the most dynamic and comprehensive networks anywhere in the world.

The Cardiovascular Disease Including Stroke Affiliate will accomplish this in partnership with leading cardiovascular disease and stroke organizations, and experts across the country.
"This represents a unique opportunity for Capital Health to showcase its expertise in health promotion on a national scale and it provides exciting opportunities with the opening of the Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton in 2005/06," says Leslie Beard, Vice President, Public Affairs. "We're honoured to be part of such a vitally important initiative."
