Creating optimal health for children through excellence in pediatric care.

MISSION

The mission of the Stollery Children's Hospital is to meet the health needs of children in an environment that integrates service, education and research, specifically:

• Excellent patient care in a family-centered environment
• Provision of programs for prevention of illness and injury in children
• Child health advocacy aimed at facilitating the full growth and development potential of each child
• Child health education for health care workers, patients, families, and the community
• Research focused on the special needs of children and their families
• Collaboration and partnership with providers of children's services in the community and across the continuum of care
