The renovations to the Royal Alex's front entrance are complete. There is a new pedway and elevator linking the Southeast Parkade on 102 Street and Kingsway Avenue to the main entrance. The pedway is accessible from the third level of the parkade.

Changes to the Front Entrance
The upper level is a one-way with vehicle access to the front entrance entering from the east side of the facility and exiting on the west side.
- Pedestrian access is also available from the west side of the Hospital along the sidewalk past the Children's Centre and in through the Outpatient Clinic entrance.
- Visitor access and patient drop-off/pick-up is still available through the lower level, Outpatient Clinic entrance.
Parking and Drop-Off
- The upper and lower parking levels of the Kingsway Parkade (directly in front of the hospital), as well as the new South East Parkade (corner of 102nd Street and Kingsway), is available.
- Designated drop-off zones are available on the lower and upper levels of the Kingsway Parkade. Please note these are for drop off only with a maximum 15 minutes parking.
Parking for People with Restricted Mobility
People requiring wheelchair/disabled access should park in designated stalls on the lower and upper levels of the Kingsway Parkade.
- Patients or visitors requiring the services of DATS will access the hospital from the Children's Centre, west of the Main Entrance.
