This acute care facility has 259 beds and offers 24-hour Emergency care, general medicine and surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, intensive and coronary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, womens' health, diagnostics and ambulatory care.
The Misericordia is also home to the Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine (iRSM), a world-class facility for reconstruction of the face, head and neck.
Caritas Health Group, Alberta's largest faith-based provider of health care, operates the Misericordia in cooperation with Capital Health.
