Known as the "queen of hugs," the best-selling author was a woman of strong character, great vision, and a nurturer to all.

The qualities that Lois Hole is remembered for are the same qualities that form the foundation for the women's hospital that now bears her name. She brought dignity, kindness, a progressive spirit, a nurturing character, and a willingness to speak honestly from the heart. Most importantly, she brought hope to people through her work.
