No matter which hospital you attend in the Capital Region, you will enter a linked system of care by a cardiovascular team that plans cardiac care across the region.  Patients may enter the system at one hospital site and receive complex care at a different site.  Because of this interconnected and comprehensive system, each patient and each site benefits from an accumulated body of research, expertise, and proven cardiac therapies.

Physicians and staff work through a regional program council, integrating services and completing a circle of care that links heart health promotion to prevention, early detection, treatment and rehabilitation.  The program works closely with a network of colleagues in other health regions that care for and refer heart patients to Capital Health.
