Capital Health continues to improve the management of health information to enhance the delivery of health services and strengthen the link between outpatient and community-based care.

Capital Health is currently implementing an Enterprise Patient Scheduling and Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System - eCLINICIAN - for Capital Health outpatient services and medical staff to use for scheduling, patient charting and clinical decision support.
All outpatient clinicians and physicians employed by, or on the medical staff of Capital Health will be using eCLINICIAN within their own clinics and sector areas. Family physicians, specialty physicians and multi-disciplinary primary care teams within the region will also have the option to use Capital Health as their EMR vendor, similar to other Physician Office Program (POSP) vendor solutions, and implement eCLINICIAN.
