Ours is an integrated care model. Capital Health provides a complete range of health services in addition to emergency and acute care, including home care, outreach programs, continuing care, public health, specialty clinics and numerous rehabilitation and prevention programs. We operate a 24/7 health information call centre that is staffed by registered nurses.
Capital Health is also an academic-based health system, aligned with the University of Alberta and working in partnership with several other post-secondary institutions to train and prepare the next generation of medical professionals and technicians.
