Alberta Health Services - Capital Health is the only centre for clinical islet transplants in Canada.

- Weight Wise a comprehensive weight management program to help children and adults develop healthy weights and improve their overall health.
- Regional Diabetes Program a program that ensures consistency in care, based on best practices and managing the wait list throughout the region to meet increasing demand for services. Alberta Health Services - Capital Health identifies approximately 500 new cases of diabetes each month.
- Primary Care Networks formal arrangement between groups of family physicians, Alberta Health Services - Capital Health and Alberta Health & Wellness. Each network is unique and has the flexibility to develop programs and provide services that work to meet local needs. A multidisciplinary team works closely within the network to provide primary care services to a group of patients.
- Regional Palliative Care Program a community-based program of care offering palliative home care, hospices, tertiary units and consultation services in acute care and the community.
- Health Link Alberta a 24/7 in-bound contact centre. One phone number provides system-wide access to a registered nurse who provides symptom based triage and information about Alberta Health Services - Capital Health services, a Pharmacist Line with real-time access to a pharmacist during evening hours and program registration such as Prenatal and Diabetes Education Classes.
