Diagnostic Imaging
Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area Diagnostic Imaging service is committed to providing quality diagnostic and interventional examinations with exemplary patient care and safety, together with a focus on education and research. Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area continues to invest in the finest high-tech equipment to help improve access to these vital services while providing patients with timely and quality health care.
Library Services
Library Services provides quality, knowledge-based information that supports patient care and decision making within Alberta Health Services. Services include regional access to books, journals, and audiovisual materials, borrowing privileges for all Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area staff, reference service and literature search services, on-line databases and electronic full-text resources.
Patient Information Services
Patient Information Services consists of direct reporting and accountability for patient registration (admitting), health records, transcription services, data collection, patient information desks, and switchboard operators departments at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Royal Alexandra Hospital, the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Sturgeon Community Hospital, Leduc Community Hospital and the Northeast Community Health Centre. There is a matrix reporting relationship with the Caritas Sites, which includes the Misericordia and Grey Nuns Hospitals.
Regional Nutrition and Food Services
Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area Regional Food and Nutrition Services delivers quality nutrition and food services to patients, patient families, visitors, and staff. Regional Food and Nutrition Services is responsible for patient food service, nutrition therapy, education and retail food operations throughout Alberta Health Services Edmonton and Area. This department encompasses a number of different service areas including Education and Development, Hospitality Services, Patient Food Services and the Home Nutrition & IV Programs. Regional Nutrition and Food Services also operates the Regional Food Production and Distribution Centre which creates, stores, and distributes patient meals to Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area Facilities.

Regional Pharmacy Services
Regional Pharmacy Services provides pharmacy services to each of the 13 sites that make up the Alberta Health Services - Edmonton and Area. These services involve a number of programs including Home Parenteral Therapy (HPT), Purchasing and Inventory Control, Pharmacoeconomics/Drug Assessment, Residency Program, Drug Information, Alberta Health Programs, and Province Wide Services.
